Northampton (A) match thread - 1st April

He will probably go for a couple of million to some development side. Still good for everyone all round. 

Tomorrow will be a very close game I think. 0-0 or 1-0 either way. Think we will be very organised again and if we can get an early goal I fancy us. Hopefully they aren’t as up for it as us

Expect this will be a sterner challenge for us. Northampton a decent side and have a manager I really rate in Jon Brady. Surprised his name never gets linked when vacancies higher up become open to be honest. We seem to be operating more as a unit now both defensively and going forward so hopefully can carry that into this one. Draw wouldn’t be the end of the world but no reason we can’t push for all three points.

Never many goals in these games v these Ben Garrity screamer won home game .

Really rate hoskins .

As long as same kind of commitment shown as Fri and as long as CR as as much do as Fri then Vale got goals in them .

Icavetti could well head one in .

Ojo could thunder one in .

Loft being smacking some fantastic shots just wide they are going go  in eventually .

Uche well what can you say he just can take a whole defence out I'm seeing at least 4 goals for him in remaining games assists 5 .

Sangs going put one straight on someone's head he is becoming a very key player 

Plant well he certainly is a very at it player I'd like see him.score a important goal 

Dipepa well he be on cloud 9 well aim for cloud 10 goals galore but more importantly for me in games I've seen from him doesn't give defenders a moments peace

Missed the best of the lot B Garrity he pops up scores vital goals all round game tremendous. 

All of a sudden we look a threat all over the pitch .

I got to the bit where you put that you can see Uche getting at least 4 goals and 5 assists in the last 7 games and then i have to be honest i had to stop......... cant fault your enthusiasm though

I would settle for a draw whilst understanding that a draw isn't enough. I am still pretty much convinced that we will go down I just want us to continue our present form and go down fighting. If we win I would have to start believing and that's normally when  things go <ovf censored> up 😄

I think as long as we keep fighting as we have done for the last 2 games even if we do go down at least it should give all concerned and fans a bit of confidence going into next season

Be just our luck for Wilson and Garrity to be out with their injuries. Plus is it asking too much for a young prospect to turn it on again for another 90 minutes?

Tough one this. A scrappy 1-1 draw would do , but I’m hoping for another up and at ‘em performance like Saturday, and maybe , just maybe a late winner. UTV
