If Crewe stay down and Solihull come up it is a great league in terms of local away games, shame Burton somehow stayed up or that would have added another in the mix.

That said, if we have a promotion/play off campaign its enjoyable, if we dont its not. I can't say I have enjoyed the last 18 months in a higher league so wont be a high bar to set to enjoy this more.

Personally I never enjoy Crewe or Walsall. Horrible games.

Solihull be good. Depending on ticket allocation. Looks as though it could be about 1400.

So currently we have.

Cheltenham, Fleetwood, Vale, Carlisle.

Barrow, Bradford, Wimbledon, Walsall, Gillingham, Harrogate, Notts County, Morecambe, Tranmere, Accrington ,Newport, Swindon, Salford,Grimsby, Colchester and Chesterfield.

3 of Mk Dons,Doncaster, Crewe or Crawley.

1 of Solihull or Bromley.

It's a grim list. Good games with atmosphere pretty thin on the ground.

Notts County and Chesterfield be decent away games for Vale support.

Big big summer coming up.

Hope Crawley get lost. One of the worst away days I can ever imagine. At least at MK Dons the ground is decent when you get there.

Only thing I'd say about Crawley is I've been 3 times. 3 wins.

Mk would be up there again next season I'd prefer them to go up.

I have always enjoyed Crawley, largely because we always seem to win there! Can't be a ground we've visited on multiple occasions where we have such a good record? Won all but 2 games, including 1 0-0 draw and a 3-2 loss when we had a man sent off at 2-1 up.

Just checked MK Dons results, for the last six games. They’ve scored 20 goals with Tezgel the young Stoke player chipping in with a few also assists. We should have tried to get him on loan. Star of the future and if he continues the way he is going will be at a big EPL club. Stoke managed to get him sign a pro contract so will scoop a big payday for him. I’m told by his ex teacher from school that he’s very respectful extremely well mannered and MCFC, LFC and Chels have had a look as he’s scored hatricks against their youth teams. I’m normally quite sceptical about some teachers and what they have to say. However this teacher has now left the profession to start a career with the RAF intelligence corp as a commissioned officer. We’d have only needed three/four goals from him and we’d still be in L1.

I’d love Solihull with me being Birmingham based. Bloody hope it’s not Bromley, be a right arse to get to that would.

Hoping for a new ground to visit out of one the teams in the National League and only Barnet I have been to so no doubt they will go up.  Disappointing to see that Gateshead have been barred from taking part in the play-offs, deserved their place after 46 games.
If they have not gone up because of stadium regs. I have to say I have no sympathy with them. The same thing happened to Stevenage a few years back. They new what the rules were re stadium standards at the beginning of the season. And probably the season before that. So they can't moan if they haven't abided by the rules in place.

Speaking to nephew even he didn't go sat.

Couldn't be arsed lad didn't go went work instead, in fact no one went out of 3 season tickets .

Notts County Tranmere Chesterfield Fleetwood  Walsall so a few decent away days there

Crewes OK but that East Midlands train ever so small .

So at least 6 OK awaydays out of 23 .

I'm going try the long ones though as like a train to myself ,Harrogatte and Bromley or Solihull ,are calling at me if we have a team worth watching might go a few more like Carlisle ,and Cheltenham .

Being Swindon they seem a bit angry with us so stay away from  that one .

I didnt really enjoy that away end you think they could afford a roof

I'm probably getting hysterical now but there's some potentially interesting grounds mentioned in this topic that I've never been to before for next Season. I've been to several with old University mates way back when but far from most of them.

So, I wouldn't say I am enthusiatic about it but..

Gateshead had no control over it. EFL demand team and stadium have a 10 year lease with no breaks. Council are subcontracting all leisure facilities so lease has a break clause in it for new company. Unacceptable to EFL.

Club and fans suffer because of petty strutting by council and EFL..zero common sense...no surprise!
