We can not build a new squad because bottlejobs like Ojo and many others are still under contract for next season.

Easy don't have a DoF. It's not compulsary. We managed without one for 143 years

Unfortunately, someone saw fit to give Ojo a contract until June 2026.

We had 140 years without a DOF and aside from the JR era have been largely gash. In 3 full seasons with a DOF we've had a promotion, a poor season and what is looking like a relegation. So little on the pitch seems to have changed. Off the pitch the DOF does seem to be improving us

It’s genuinely an achievement to be as bad at football as we’ve been for the last few months.

Sheffield United, hopelessly out of their depth in the PL managed to beat Luton 3-1 away a few weeks ago.

Sutton, bottom of the football league, put four past Notts County last week.

We couldn’t score in a brothel and leak goals for fun.

Massey and Dipepa were playing upfront for us second half. We deserve to go down.

It’s never a waste of time with Vale going to Wembley . I wish I could have been there. Great memories. Since then though , it’s all gone downhill.

Well yes, but how much over the norm. Let’s face it, if you have no attachment to the area would you come with your family if you had options like Exeter, Oxford, Cambridge,Wycombe and on and on. I used to live in Cape Town, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. When I told my mates I was returning here they wanted to have me committed.

Having said that I do not know why Bosun Lawley or Tshimanga are not running out in Vale shirts.

 

I have to admit that I don't understand why Carol has chosen to die on flitcroft Hill. Carol is a very very successful businesswoman so she must understand that it is results, just results, only results and naff all except results that count so surely to goodness she must see that the trajectory we are on is leading inevitably to disaster. Unlike fraudcroft Carol has a huge financial stake in the club and stands to lose a huge portion of that investment. It is hard, very hard to admit that you have got something so spectacularly wrong as she has with flitcroft. Either Carol just cannot bring herself to admit such a massive misjudgement or perhaps even more worrying she actually does believe that the sun does shine out of 5hitcrofts bottom.

The mess has been created by DF over reliance on Alfie and Oli , throw in no Funso and Ben G for what 6 weeks  basically we had f-all midfield. Throw in we have not got a striker worth a f-all  and we not signed any full backs bar Clarke  . So we can’t score , can’t defend and we get over run in midfield one bloke delivers the is Mr David Flitcroft.

Giving a 32 year old a 3 (!) year contract should have raised a few eyebrows.
