Please can we keep to topic on here because that way the club can see clearly to what everyone thinks of Flickers.

No discussing if he's done good or bad things or whose voted or not.

If you want him out, state clearly that you want him out.

If you don't want him out then do not post anything on here

Yes boss 😉

If you're looking for a clear indication of views... have you considered adding a vote on this thread?

That's a clear yes or no and allows the thread itself to run it's own course.

I'd also suggest a vote would be far easier to see the results rather than ploughing through 500+ yes or no replies.

I will add the poll to it but I also think its more powerful for the club to see pages & pages of Flitcroft out

He’s done some good things and some bad things. The good things, as Roy Keane might say, “that’s his job”. The bad things have been catastrophic.

Weigh that against his reported salary and decide whether we’re getting value for his footballing expertise. I’d argue not.

The shambles since Monday afternoon was totally avoidable. Crosby was a manager under pressure for some time. Nothing should have taken us by surprise and yet, without a plan, we find a caretaker manager at the last minute, Bullseye style, after David Dunn didn’t fancy a go at the star prize.

We pay DF good money to not end up like a banter club again and yet we’ve managed to out-Norm ourselves.

Just laughed out loud at “out-Norm ourselves” 😂

Flitcroft is the common denominator and should do the decent thing which is step down, now.

Ask JR to consult on who to get in as manager.

Flitcroft says the club has a five year plan. What is the point of that if you get the first team relegated in the first year so can’t afford to fund the next four?  I never thought I would see fans turn against Carol but that’s what is happening and a Flitcroft has to take responsibility for that.

I do wonder if it is best if David Flitcroft looks for a new job. You'd imagine he would be able to bag himself another job easily enough off the back of his record at Port Vale and it just feels like this might be best for all parties, Vale fans have never taken to him and things seem to have reached the point of no return.

I can forgive a bad window + a bad managerial appointment, but I feel there have been a number of mistakes made now that just defy common sense.

  • Failure to address our poor striking options over 3 windows.
  • Failure to recruit a balanced squad (How many CM's did we have at one point? Why did we start the season with 1 injury prone LWB? Why did we sign a winger when we don't play with wingers?).
  • Failure to even consider other options for interview after Clarke left.
  • After appointing Crosby, which we all knew was doomed to fail, failure to remove him in Oct/Nov.
  • Now the latest lack of common sense is sacking Crosby a few days after the window shuts, which gives the next manager zero wiggle room in terms of personnel.

Like I say, no owner is perfect and mistakes will be made everywhere - but these are just so simple and so avoidable that I don't have any confidence in our fortunes improving under Flitcroft.

I am absolutely dreading the next appointment - I feel it's going to be some Premier League coach or someone that just obsesses over possession and nothing else.
