Really unlucky with the volley. Gave the ball to Funso as much as he could. We deserved that peno. Lots of good play for me undone by poor defending. Opposition work on percentages. The more crosses we let come in,the more chance of us conceding. If we play like that and show the same spirit against the lesser teams,it gives us hope

I agree, although I thought Weir made a much greater impression today than he has previously. Based on some tenacious tackles and link up play I think theres a decent player there that will come to fruition.

Watched the penalty decision back and the only Stevenage player to complain was the guy who ‘handled’ the ball.

Playing further forward he had some nice touches and can thread a pass but didn't look as good when he had to defend

Stevenage were poor first half but a proper League 1 manager sorted it at half time.
