i know we’re in the <ovf censored> at the minute with no manger but having a bunch of academy coaches taking charge of the men’s first team is an entirely different proposition. Hopefully it isn’t for too long.

Ryder is very highly rated.

This should have been done before the transfer window to allow a new manager to try and bring in some players of his choice. The owners were just hoping Crosby could scrape a win here or there to keep him in the job. Yet another really poor decision by those at the top to add to a growing list.

Its a completely different animal coaching the kids to the first team though, its night and day.

Its on a wing and a prayer this one but what worries me most is the statement the club put out seems to suggest they will take their time over getting a manager in... we dont have time.

Off the line blog have suggested Gary Bowyer.

It can not be this guy.

When we beat Blackpool 3-0 He was the co commentator for BBC Blackpool on the live commentary.

Apart from praising our youngsters on show, he did not have a clue about anything else. He thought Conor Grant was still playing midfield for Plymouth and then started questioning himself if he was getting Conor Grant mixed up with somebody else

No they don’t need to consult legal and financial advisers to sack the manager.

You mistake a football club with the corporate world. The contracts are very different.

Yes they absolutely do. Employment contract law or service contract law. Monumentally stupid to fire or put on gardening leave or terminate any major service contract without doing so.

I think that its a clever & smart move from the club.

They will get 100% backing from the fans.

They will play the youngsters and know them inside out.

If they get some positive results and then they will be very much in running to take the job on full time.

If they do not pick up any positive results, they have personally lost nothing apart from getting some experience and the fans would still be behind them

I think it's Flitcroft not wanting to face up to the crowd.

DF EFL matches managed : 312
WR = 0

Could badly backfire, surely makes sense for him to do it for a couple of weeks with his experience.

Clearly been a fall out behind the scenes. You can tell by the kind of language used in the announcements. Dunn gone as well, no thanks for his time at the club. All seems very non amicable.

After stating 2 x weeks ago that relegation wasn't in his vocab, Flitcroft is now quoted as saying League 1 survival is our only priority. You couldn't make it up. If anybody needed any further evidence this guy is full of <ovf censored>, then this has to be it.

Good luck to Ryder & Co tonight.
