Didn't go yesterday so relied on the commentary. Can anyone enlighten me on why Wilson and Debrah were subbed at half time, were they injured ? For me 2 of our better players generally or were they having stinkers

Willo did absolutely nothing and I presume Jesse coming back from injury

But, again, for Willow to score, he needs good service in to the box. We did zero of that yesterday.

Had time to reflect now. From the onset yesterday as I sat in the stand observing the apathy, bewilderment at the Club's inability to see what was required before the end of the transfer window, the apparent disillusion, the atmosphere as flat as a disc, I sensed then the majority of us attending were simply there in desperate hope rather than to enjoy a game against the team languishing at the bottom of the table. After 10 minutes it was clear this was going to be another abject, tactic lacking, boring debacle. As the game progressed so did the bile and warranted derision grow towards players, AC and DC. Frankly everything about the day was embarrassing to be a Valiant due to the lack of vision shown by Port Vale. I usually attempt to drum up encouragement and optimism even during some of our darker days but I actually joined in the choruses of disapproval. After 45 years of supporting my favourites I am at a very low level of patience or sympathy as to our plight. Many, many more yesterday were discussing  their options as to what to do on match days next season.  Vale are now in serious decline. Fans all know it, its being coming now for ages. Why can't the powers that be see it?  I sincerely hate posting pessimistic vibes but if I'm  feeling it, I'm  sure hundreds and hundreds more are of  a similar vein. If Vale don't recognise this and actually do something, I fear for my beloved Club.

I think he may be referring to Ojo. I noticed it too. Look at his reaction after the third goal. It looks like a sarcastic clap and laugh, but still not a great reaction to see.

Last post on the aftermath of the absolute rubbish served up yesterday .

Considering our academy is getting money for players have we got 3 lads who can go straight into back line for Tues.

Don't care if 14 15 if they are considered be sellable assets then at least let the Vale Park faithful have a watch of them first .

Cannot wait for the Orient match thread .

Who in your opinion has deserved a shirt for Tuesdays match .

It will be a very interesting match thread indeed .

Based on yesterday I couldn't name a single player who deserves to be wearing a Port Vale shirt.

Yeah I thought he must of ment Ojo. I think it was more out of disbelief and bewilderment as oppose to ridicule of fans tho

Ojo is basically is taking the pee out of his own players for how <ovf censored> they played. Good on him

For people defending crosby yes hes been dealt a crap hand since January by flitcroft but weve been crap for months and we had one of the best midfields in the league throught he majority of that. Flitcroft needs replacing of course but between now and the end of the season that will have minimal effect on what we see on the pitch. WE NEED A NEW MANAGER WHO KNOWS HOW TO SET UP A TEAM TO WIN GAMES.

Both were <ovf censored> awful. Crosby could have changed very single player at half-time.

They were subbed to change the formation as we went to 4 at the back.

He can set them up right tho. 30 odd chances against Charlton with a load on target with a very direct approach.
How he thought tippy tappy would work on that ploughed field of a pitch yesterday is just bizarre.

Was quite telling that Crosby apologies for the performance, said how bad it was, and then was then asked 'why was it so poor?'.

He said good question... and then waffled on for a bit.

He's a manager out of his depth with a weak + imbalanced squad.
