The two young lads in midfield I’m not going to criticise. Bit of a baptism of fire against Portsmouth but you’re basically asking two lads who’ve never played together before to try and build up a partnership. At least say Arblaster had pre-season with us and Ojo next to him. Degree of difficulty for these two is higher.

The back three have been an accident waiting to happen all game. Yak playing himself out the lineup for me right now.

Smith, Lowe and Iacovitti is not a League One level backline. As much as we need a striker or two, we are also desperate for quality at the back. Obviously Debrah helps a bit but he's still learning himself.

How you can tell anyone about criticising I do not know. I’m at the game have backed him and will 2nd half. I simply said he hasn’t put himself about!

When Uche went off, we had the perfect opportunity to get another midfielder in. We need an extra man in there both offensively (getting the ball down and playing with more options for a pass) and defensively blocking those passing lines. I hope Loft does something but the definition of insanity springs to mind.
 

Weir is struggling but I do t think he should be playing so deep. He strikes me as a Garrity replacement whilst he’s injured. We should have brought Sang on alongside Gore to help him, and pushed weir alongside Chislett more.
