looking at the run in Stevenage will have a say in who goes down. they are chasing the final play off spot and play both burton and Cheltenham. Cheltenham play Burton, and promotion chasing Peterborough.  Fleetwood also play Burton.

wycombe play four sides in the relegation mix

Very useful thanks for posting it.

I keep running through all the many permutations of results for the remaining games.

For instance Shrewsbury now on 46 points could beat Wycombe next game up and effectively be out of the mire.

Or Shrewsbury could gain nul points from their last four challenging fixtures and be right in the mire.

My best guess is that if Vale win two more games they stay up, because I think that none of Fleetwood, Cheltenham or Burton will get to 46 points.

Almost time to close this thread. Could be relegated on Tuesday.

sadly I don’t see a win in the side and our goal difference means league two next season and I think people will vote with their feet on Tuesday but our substantial debt could mean even worse next season and for Carol I think the project is over please sell it to Ian Donaldson

Next season in Div 4 we will need some harder players because this lot won’t survive on cold nights getting lumps kicked out of them. They won’t be playing against nice tippy tappy stuff in Div 4!

Even when we got promoted, our team was so nice. Remember the Bristol Rovers game, where their captain virtually refereed the game? It feels like we value nice people over winners. The best teams we have played this season have, without fail, had someone who is horrible, winds the opposition up and is in the refs ear constantly. It's a side I don't like but if you can't beat em, join em!
