Crosby is Out NOW !!!

We provided Fleetwood with their first win in 3 months. We've lost to the three bottom teams in the league. Our generosity knows no bounds. Ah well I suppose we managed to beat the 4th bottom team 1-0. I guess someone at the club must have a beef with them.
Garrity scored, which helped.

Wrong. BB was and still is a Vale fan. Am sure he would still attend except for the abuse he would get.

Only thing he did badly was not to find an investor/ buyer for the club, but it was not for the lack of trying. I was a small investor in V2001 along with a thousand others. Lost my money, but do not care about that. Would do it over again to save my club.

To avoid any mis-understanding.

As the person who had more supporter contact with V2001 than any other person. May I make it very very clear that IMHO you couldn't be more wrong about them and BB in particular. Lets just say IMHO he has more faces than Big Ben and leave it at that.

You, like me and many others including Robbie Williams, lost our investment.

The man you think so highly of ensured he didn't lose a penny.

Wasn't Mr Bratt told in court by the judge in a case relating to his insurance business that his evidence was "unreliable"?  Doesn't smack of integrity to me.  He banned me from writing a programme column because I was part of B&G, not because of anything I'd written.  He also ignored the original V2001 agreement that none of the directors would profit from their relationship with the club by taking a significant salary for a job for which he had no previous qualifications.  And he and the Board appointed another paid director who was a mate.  Don't forget the ladders in Blackpool!

Getting back to the thread and as much as January has turned me on Flitcroft I don't see him going now or perhaps it achieving a great deal until the summer, when there's more time for a 'root to branch' review(I remember someone saying that before?🙄) of what's gone wrong with 'the process' amongst other things?

Whether we see Crosby as simply plain crap and out of his depth or the fall guy for others above him(probably a bit of both in reality) it's clear, at least to me he's incapable of motivating the side to beat or even do the basics against some of the worst teams in this division, Shrewsbury, Carlisle, Fleetwood were all in god awful form when we played them and we've surrendered the points on each occasion.

That should ring alarm bells even with the most passive of fans and maybe we need someone in the Warnock mould(i know we won't get him and he's gone to Aberdeen anyway) but someone just to give the players that kick up the arse even it's just for 3 months to make sure we stay up!? Then re-assess it in the summer.

You are so wrong mate

Met him a couple of times, once in his office at the vale and once in a local building society. Both times he was pleasant with me and willing to talk about the club.

Was my understanding that he recovered his own investment in the club. If that is all he did I have no problem with that. Would have done it myself if I was in that situation.

He also made a large six figure sum in wages for being CEO.

Well that is news to me Jean, but I will take that on board as I respect that you are/ have been closer to the coal face than me.  I had better shut up now as it is going way off topic.

It was all in the club accounts.

The entire playing side stinks at the moment (barring Garrity for me). Chants of "your not fit to wear the shirt" should echo around the sparsely populated stadium once we've gone down a goal within 10 minutes without putting a foot in.  Failing that, a pitch invasion with 10 minutes to go should be arranged, and vacated on the tannoy announcement that Crosby and Flickers have been escorted off the premises. We'll only get a suspended points deduction so what's the harm?
