For me, Devine is played for what he can do, not for what he has done. Until he is consistent he shouldn’t be starting.

What’s Foyle up to these days? For all of his faults as manager he could spot a striker.

Phil are you trying to say he should be dropped (to the bench/out of the team)?   I thought he was only starting because he’s currently better/fitter than other players in that position. I agree he’s not a ‘first name on the team sheet’ player (at the moment few are) but he’s been used as either a replacement for Chizzy when Chizzy starts and vice versa. I suspect he’s starting more more recently because Chislett’s form has dipped since his return from injury.

I'd play plant in his correct position above all the others. Let's develop our own 

We don't score enough goals so we should keep Devine on the pitch because he scores goals...

For me Devine has been one of our best players over the past 6 games. I thought he was excellent 1st half v Derby but sadly we don’t have players or tactics to capitalise on his passing and clever movement.

He signed, Brooker, Paynter, Constantine and Sodje, all of which I would have above Uche and Loft. Could we bring him back as a scout?

Yes he should be dropped to the bench, I’d much rather have Ojo back in the middle playing alongside Chislett and Arblaster. I would even consider playing Walters above Devine. 
 

Devine is a great prospect with great talent but what I’ve seen of him so far he has not been consistent with more bad games than good, we should be using him as an impact sub, one thing that has been lacking under Crosby.

I think he’s scouting for one of the teams in Scottish Premier League.

Exactly this for me. In his earlier games I thought he looked a luxury we could get away with playing because we were winning. There was one game where he was at fault for a goal where he didn't track his man with any commitment. Fair play though, he's adding that to his game and I thought on Tuesday he was one of the better performers.
