Something I hope we do take from his time as a pro is targeting our loans outward better. The ones we sent him on never seemed to develop him for whatever reason whether it’s the club or him that was the issue. Great opportunity for him now

Fair play to Tommy.

Find it strange he couldn't get a game for Rochdale and didn't last long at Curzon, and at a time we were giving minutes out to anyone with two legs from the academy, hasn't played in 12 months - but has now gone to a Premier League side.

I'm very surprised by this one. If he was good enough to play in the Premier League this season or Championship next season then surely he'd be playing regularly for PV now. But what will be will be. Close the cash register / print off the debit card receipt.

it could have been missed. He might not have told Liverpool about it. It could have been more serious than he thought it was. Or who knows with football, it could be a smokescreen for another reason . 

I think, judging by other comments, that it's something other than an injury? And, if so...and quite rightly, Vale are not giving explanations to people who do not need to know, and not damaging the reputation of a young man who potentially has a career in football? It's only theory and I guess we'll never know...nor do we need to!

Our squad turnover is absolutely nuts. 

There's only 8 players here from last season - and that's including Plant and Walters who barely played.

Flitcroft must have signed 50+ players since he arrived.

Edit: Just checked - 58 players in 2 years and 51 weeks.

On average we've signed a player every 2.7 weeks since he came in.
