Falling a medical is a great way a rumour spreading blogger  uses to  justify his rumour was correct but  the transfer not happening . Can’t see ulche was going anywhere as Charlton have been likened with everyone from Exoudus.  To Harry Kane

Kane cant hack it anymore, gets injured every third season, too old.

Back on track, do we have opinions on players we should be signing? I know we cannot afford Haaland and he would not pass a medical, or would he 🤪

11 days to go re window, Pompey next week, should be a decent attendance.

When I say signings I mean permanent, or if we cannot afford, I really wish we could come up with a sensible answer?

UTV

leave this here for suggestions, all are retired now, but my question is, how do us fans want to see us play, direct or pass around and have a smoke half way ?

So he didn’t pass our test after failing . He went away, got fit, then passed

the all things negative brigade are trying to suggest we have a less strict test of some sort, which is the reason for our injury list .

Yes. It’s almost like some of the people who post on here aren’t actually fans of the club.

You have totally missed the point.
Why do players fail medicals at other clubs but get a pass at our's ?
That is a genuine question and one for the Flickers to answer on Thursday.
I would say you are going to be less likely to sign someone with a minor issue that has a low percentage of flaring up if you are signing a player for a fee with a 2 and a half year contract than if you are signing someone on a free with an 8 month contract.

I think the reality is, Charlton, unlike us in the summer who appeared to solely  chase Loft, had a number of decent options and a better one has paid off, so Uche will stay put.

I also think it was a bit of gamesmanship on Charlton’s part to destabilise us who are rivals in the league. Not only does Uche get his head turned but we end up spending our time looking for a replacement in an area we may have felt was covered.

One bit of clever man management from the club, which has to be acknowledged is that the decision to let him talk to clubs has helped to ensure Uche does not feel resentment or demotivated at being refused. He may be grateful and be with Vale motivated.

My only fear now is the classic scenario of him still being on the market, getting sold and then the window closes with no chance of getting in a decent replacement. We will see.

Dan gore is in Dubai so don’t know when he is  signing

That's not an issue for me as we dont need him until next weekend although you would expect the club to want him in training this coming week if he is signing

So Dipepa has committed himself to us for the next 2.5 yrs which has to be commended,it looks like he has advisors who dont think he is better than he is

Lomax next please as i think Shorrock is still too young to be offered  a deal

I think Shorrock is 17 in the summer. He was still 15 when he played against Plymouth.

Totally disagree.

It's not about the stats and the only manager to come out to say anything about Uche was the Charlton manager that's actually come out & said anything about him unless you can show me any other articles different.

Uche was a player that was about to get thrown out of the club until AC stumbled on a formation at half time against Barnsley to save his own bacon.

Uche's then gone on to have, what 2 & half decent games which for some reason made him a messiah amongst Vale fans, where before Barnsley he was useless.

When AC gets players back from injury & and one or two more additions in, then he is going to revert back to the possession football that we had been playing because that's the way that AC wants us to play & he's said many many times this season that is our ID & philosophy.

When he reverts back to that, then Uche will be useless again but with what I have seen with Uche already, it's not going to take a switch of formation to render him not very good again.

All that is very true and it's also very worrying.

Since AC has 'stumbled' onto a system, that Uche is an integral part of, I have seen our supporters, after the match, coming out of the ground with smiles on their faces even though we may not have won (Charlton).

If AC loses Uche and reverts back to the the 'Vale Way' of playing then we will be back to glum, unhappy fans who may well not renew STs (particularly if reverting back to the boring, catastrophic, system sees us relegated).

The new 'Vale Way' of playing may be what the coaches want, but i am pretty damn sure its not what the majority of supporters want. It's the proverbial watching paint dry scenario.

I, for one, will never forgive the lead up to the Middelsborough second goal that killed the match as a contest.

BTW what message does it send to the opposition and our supporters when at our kick off the ball is immediately passed back to the keeper without any other player touching it. Total negativity.

I’m debating your point, and your outlook towards the club is clearly 90% negative , mine is more positive , especially because of the hard work that has gone on over the last 3 years.

rightly I will defend the clubs position when it seems lazy  mud throwing when the opportunity arises

the issue around medicals is a rumour, but ask the question and see what they say

so no I won’t ’wind my neck in’ and listen to you run the club down

First off, when do I ever run down the club?? Never, so you have that totally wrong.

Secondly, the failed medical thing is just an observation on why 2 players we have signed have passed our medicals but failed other club's medicals. Its just an observational question not to throw any <ovf censored> at the club.

You totally turned it on it's head into a negative by throwing out the phrase "negative brigade" which makes you totally negative
