I think we have still been ‘possession-based’ in the Blackpool and Charlton games. Just been brave enough to mix it up a bit more and get the ball forward quicker. It’s still possession based

Exactly, and I'm OK with that. But I'm serious when I say I was close to stopping coming for the remainder of the season in late 2023 and likely not to renew my season ticket for 2024/25. The top teams offer multiple threats in the way they play even if predominantly possession based. They have also grasped it must be entertaining!

Summarising what I posted before. Played 6, won 0, lost 3, drawn 3.  Sacked. Banned for 4 games for conduct offences. Time in charge 29 days.

Mitigation!! Deeney says he was sacked before his ban was announced.

Deeney scored 4 goals in 16 games. That includes a hat-trick v Notts County!

Why am I interested in his management results. I thought you dealt with fraud? In which case you'll have the common to know that his stats (goals) mean nothing.

Care to explain what you’re illustrating with these seemingly random stats?

I'm OK with that. What I'm not OK with is pointless passing it round at the back posing no threat. In the Charlton game we posed plenty of threat. It was mistakes on the ball at the back that cost us 2 goals. That was a game we should have won.

Was refreshing in those games that the player with the most touches was not Ripley  !

Couldn’t see it on their forum when I looked - just a suggestion that Uche was the fall back if they didn’t get Ladapo.

Anyway made up for young Bailey signing and the positive words from his family. Obviously very grounded young man with great support around him realising he has to take it slow and be settled in a positive environment to bring him on for the future emoji106.png

It's fantastic for him and his family. I don't mean any disrespect but I hope that he doesn't become Josh Thomas' replacement.

Two of the most possession-heavy sides in the league. Appleton and Critchley are idealogues.

In those games it makes more sense to sit off and hit them directly.

That doesn't change that the overarching idea is to control the ball, limit the risk, and provide a platform for Category 1 academies to send good, technical players on loan - which gives us the chance to sign quality we simply can't afford on a permanent. The players of the technical ability of Blaster in this division (the likes of Collins, Randall, Lowery) are out of our budget.

Even if Uche stays, AC s going to revert back to the possession football because that's what the club wants.

100% agree with you, we have had some great matches since we changed formation and the fans are more happy but we have a stubborn manager  who believes we should be playing the other way

But you want Uche gone .

So you enjoyed the games but one of the leading lights who as been making them games enjoyable you want out .

So do you think Ryan Loft would benefit us more than Uche .

If Uches goes that may be the only option we have then I will if he doesn't deliver be after you and questioning your process of thoughts

You think I'm off the scale really all I care about is our supporters enjoying the games  I am , others are with 3 we have up top  .

If Uche stays ill be delighted .

The ball sticks with him up there and the Hamil love ❤️ him I'm part of the hamil and that's how the cookie crumbles fella UTV
