Port Vale doesn't serve any. It never did. But vegetarian and vegan food is now the life choice of many millions in the UK. I know it's difficult with a diabolical supplier in Hollands but better effort needed.
What about those also with gluten intolerence or ceoliac disease. Neither a life choice or want and neglected by most places.

Even Morrisons pies are a good standard! Bowen's pies (from Chorley) are superb. And free delivery over £50,,,and no - that is not my usual shopping bill!

As a veggie myself I don't think I would personally eat anything at the Vale simply because I tend to have something prior to the game. However, there will be those who may want something veggie/vegan but can't if there is nothing on offer. From a business point of view it would make sense to have some foods especially as there are more veggies/vegans now. However, it is about balance so buying enough to sell but not spending too much where you have food waste with a knock on effect of money being wasted. Overall, I definitely would applaud the introduction of more veggie/vegan food at the Vale as it can be something simple like a veggie/vegan pasty or pie.

Warren annoyed and suffering from lack of patience when setting up this thread. But anyway, I hope the debate is useful.

It's also hard to be a so called pure vegetarian. For example almost no beer is vegetation. Guess what! So I don't want to be sanctimonious.

There are many brands which are either veggie or vegan. It is a case of just making sure you know what you can and what you can not drink. A good website for checking is Barnivore. In fact, since going veggie about 15 years ago or so I have tried so many other beers which I wouldn't have done otherwise.

I'm in a weird situation where I'm a vegetarian by choice but have to eat meat by Doctor's orders.Only once a week a mind, due to the animal protein I need to keep my blood cancer in check.

Doctors are not experts on nutrition.   Meat is a proven carcinogen so can actually contribute to you having cancer.

Thanks, mate. Much appreciated. All good at the mo. Latest  blood test was good. F*** Cancer

I've had hodgkins lymphoma and I'm currently in remission. I may glow in the dark with all the scans and radiotherapy. But sticking at it is most important.
