Why? Even in the truly bad times, we had a core of 4k or thereabouts. We will maybe lose some of the more recent supporters, and a few old school for whom this season has been enough. I don't make comments just to liven up the forum. I bet Thierry Small was determined to score last night to show that he was a good player when played in his correct position though.

Absolutely no way will we build a squad good enough to challenge next season with DF at the reigns and Moore as manager. We will average over 4000 throughout the season but there will be games with around 3,000 home fans next season when we are lingering near the bottom. To say our support won’t dip much is crazy, gates are already going down, people are fed up. Without seeing the attendances I would guess we are 20% down on last season and 30% down on away following, I predict at least the same next season unless there are serious changes.

You cannot pass off guesswork as fact!

We haven't gone down yet, and...while it's mathematically possible to stay up, we may still do? But, you're conveniently forgetting that DF assembled a squad that did get promotion at the first time of asking, and that gates increased with this achievement...as always happens! Not sure where your %age figures come from, apart from your febrile mind? Certainly, away support s holding up seems to be holding up - whether that's because fans want to go and have a good moan at the team, or genuinely support them? But, there are more factors involved in falling attendances  than just apathy or anger! As you allude to - much of your post is guesswork!

Again - you are not realising that "you" means the fans who share your point of view, not necessarily you, yourself! I have already made this clear in a previous reply - if you choose to ignore this, or are unable to read written English is your problem, not mine - but it does leave you looking stupid, each time. A lot of predictions are guesswork as was the post I was responding to which said that our gates will not decrease much even if we get relegated. It’s a fair presumption we will go down rather than total guesswork and even said I am guessing when estimating the current drop in attendances, which I’ve just checked and we are 11% down on last season home attendances and 29% down on away following, so I wasn’t far off. Plus I never gave any reason why attendances have and will continue to drop, I just predicted they would so get your head out of your ass and post something useful rather that might actually agree or disagree.

Do the players have a say in how they line up and play or do they just follow orders and play as they are told by the manager or D O F  Carol cannot be pleased with whats going on she is losing the fans and club.

Away following will sure to  suffer if/when we go down.

No full Bycars with Derby, Bolton or Barnsley gone, replaced by Forest Green Rovers, Crawley etc.

To make it worse relegation would also result in not playing well supported teams promoted from L2, such as Wrexham, Mansfield etc, and of course our stripey neighbours.

Agreed. I remember when we first went down under Bratt and we were going to places like Barnet etc. Home matches against those clubs were flat. League 2 is where established league clubs like us go to die. 
 

Our playoff win was different. We believed it was the start of better things. Relegation this time won’t be.
