Chris Harper has been at the Sentinel for a long time. He is still, in my opinion, the best Vale reporter that I can recall. I hope he finds a new direction to follow and a new season to his career. He's a top man and big Vale fan.

Hope Steve and Scoopy (Sammy Morgan's name for Chris Harper) get fixed up soon.

 

It's all too prevalent at the moment - I just found out today a good friend has been made redundant from her job. Unfortunately I think it'll get worse before it gets better.

Never did I actually think so many people would take my comment seriously. Wow! :(

 

Apologies to those that did get offended, but it was tongue-in-cheek. Guess I'll have to include a footnote in future posts to make sure I note my deliberate sarcasm or tongue-in-cheek comments to avoid being shot down in this fashion.

 

Didn't mean to cause a stir.

 

But, whether he did wrong or not, it is hypocritical to wish that on Deakin, and then crucify me. :yes:

Deakin was part of the set up that damaged the club.Steve Shaw has done NO damage to the club.Deakin deserves to suffer grief,pain,hardship.

remember chris harper down the vale about 1972 ,we played walsall away top of table clash, the supporters coaches were full and 3 lads wanted go but no room for them, chris didnt know them but said they could jump in his car , great bloke and reporter

What about those supporters moaning about certain players being offered a contract?

 

Do they want them to be out of work and jobless? It's not guaranteed they'll find another Club.
