good news i feel, there are local business people who were watching the port vale situation closely willing to get involved invest etc but not when the previous incumbants were in charge mo and mark just to name two, so maybe more will be also getting in touch with keith

 

but all i would say to mo is stop buggering about on facebook and in the senile and give the keith a ring, arrange a meeting and see if there is common ground to work from

 

but the good news continues today, lets hope it continues later

To value the bid you would have value the ground on the basis it has a tenant at a pepporcorn rent for a long time. Other factors would have had to be considered both financial and non financial ie the effect on the local area.

Both bids have their own pluses and minuses.

I left a comment of his Facebook page the other day stating I don't agree with the needless comments he's coming out with recently. Trying to divide fans at this stage is the last thing we need. Maybe he's realised now that it's for the best that everyone gives Keith a chance. Maybe offering sponsorship to Vale now is a way in which he is trying to better his name but it can only benefit all parties involved so, it's welcome from my point of view.

The other bids must have been very close together in terms of money then. Young did say it wasnt just the money overall though, that it was the persons vision for the club, personally Im glad Keith got it, seems a good lad.
