Yep I’m not exaggerating by saying we could easily have scored 3 or 4. The future looks really bright based on this tonight just begging for one to drop now.

They have put in loads of effort and the commentators have said they don't deserve to be behind.

Been by far the better team from what I've seen. Liverpool haven't been in it really.

Absolutely brilliant effort from the youth lads. Everyone connected with the academy setup should be extremely proud of themselves.

That was a really good match and the commentators were great to listen to as well.

The commentators have said the Vale side was really good and pushed them.

Some good players coming through by the looks of it.

Deserved better out of this as we played them off the park with some impressive performances. We had them on the ropes at times but we just couldn't score with predictable results. It says it all when their commentators pick their goalkeeper and left back as their best players on the night. For us, I thought Tommy went off the boil second half but Plant, Walters and Chale were excellent. Great credit to the management team who will be more than disappointed with the result. 

Well played Vale, despite the defeat - we are in a good place with several of these players looking a lot like first team prospects.
