I too would prefer to see him more upbeat and hopefully as things improve he will be, he's had to put up with a heck of a lot in the last few weeks and months.

 

Why should people apologise? Mickys interview was ambiguous and misguided at best. He either should have said nothing, or alternatively everything. Leaving it as he did with a "no comment" response to whether he was leaving, was his choice. He didn't have to, he could have said there and then that he wasn't leaving.

I always thought that he was talking about getting paid when he said about taking legal advise. The bit about if he would leave I suppose was based on the fact that ****ing people off with legal action might get him fired.

I agree Sonny. When he said he was going to seek legal advice he should have either explained his reason or said nowt. Is it any surprise that folks thought that it was in regard to himself?. In truth we still don't know for sure.

whilst i welcome micky's statement i still feel he should have had a thought for all those who at this time look for him to inspire and support when he made his statement on saturday

Yet again a director has lied or shown how incompetent they were. Thank god they are now history. Its time to move on now and lets hope the new owner/s are in place before the end of the season and the club can settle down and move forward.

This episode must show Bob Young that any bid by any ex director must be dismissed out of hand.

I think there are four apologies necessary:

i) for leaving and heading off to Sheffield

ii) for coming back and doubling his salary

iii) for joining the board of directors

iv) for not investing the £50K he said he would.

 

As for him staying, well I guess we will have to wait and see.
