Match Thread: Crawley Town v Port Vale

I thought Woza was a bit quiet last week. Maybe carrying a knock... Weekend with your feet up is surely better than travelling that distance...
I'd agree with that. Thought he was our most average player which is unusual for him. He's played pretty much every week for 2 years so a break is probably overdue anyway. Previous years we'd have been screwed without him but hopefully this season will be different with the squad we have

It has, but likewise so did 4-3-3 at the back end of last year when we had a CB in one of the FB positions.

I just thought that these are on a poor run so we need to get at them early, but this feels like a repeat of Mansfield.

Looks like we're practising for the school disco

Nice sunny day here in Creepie. Long day but hopefully the lads will do us justice and smash this small, pinot hole.

Happy with that 11. Would have dropped Rodney for garrity anyway and guessing wozza is injured / rested

Worrall seems to be targeted by players and takes quite a few kicks during the game, so not surprised he probably has a knock and needs a rest.

Come on Vale, 3 points please.  Squash the creepy crawlies and secure a top 3 place.

I thought the same TBH.  It's been mentioned by someone outside the club that he's missing due to personal reasons

Hope we don't miss Wozza too much, as good a player as there is in Lge 2.

Anyone got radio sjoke on ifollow yet?

Listening to the home commentary at the moment.  Suppose that may be a positive 🤣

She was trying to nick lardies pies and they were having nothing of it.

Looks a defensive set-up. Benning does not play well at wing back. That’s all I’ll say.

Benning played really well against Barrow. He'll come good.

Yes, some truly cringeworthy radio.

Crawley's centre backs are 36 and 34!

Hoping our youthful front two can cause them some issues if we keep it on the floor!

Crawley's tactics obvious - launch the ball forward into the mixer at every chance - very similar to Sutton a few weeks back.
