Liquidation is a serious prospect and as I have said in previous posts this could be the end of Port Vale for good.

I just hope starve em out has not resulted in finished em off and finished the club for good!

Always said it was not a good idea.

The Inland Revenue are experts at scaring the **** out of people. At the end of day if they wind the club up they get nowt, the only option is to put the club in admin!

They will get a decent building plot, which I'm sure is worth a fair chunk of what we owe.

“@mattslaterbbc: Stoke council confirms HMRC has filed winding-up petition v Port Vale. Club wants another council loan to fund admin #pvfc” just seen this on twitter

So if not given, Vale could not go into Admin? Or would the new owner have to fund it ? Otherwise liquidation then, very worrying.

The interesting thing from admin will be the situation regarding the nil paid shares. Miller and Deakin will be chased for these but also Julicher is also liable for his. He has the convenience though of being minted so could write a cheque to cover it initially but would no doubt go after the board legally to recoup his investment.

I hope all four of the board end up ruined.

anyone know whats going on with the club asking the council to put us into admin??? so avoiding the winding up order?? cheers

The club don`t have the necessary 4 directors to operate, therefore they need to get one of their creditors to apply for an administration order(I think).
