Yes I agree but this sorry mess is compounded by lack of funds and SEO has not helped at all.

It was always a very bad and extremely negative idea.

I have also said that it seemed that all involved DID have the best intentions. But best intentions etc. etc.

All that SEO has done has quickened up this process.

The people involved in our boardroom have made it a closed shop.

They are hiding huge financial irregularities in my opinion.

They have had ample opportunities in the last 4 years to get proper investment or a takeover. They refused.

Everyone who ridiculed Mo Chaudry should be ashamed of themselves tonight. Never once was a viable reason for not having him put forward.

This news has not surprised me.

Ive shed no tears.

It was inevitable.

People were told this would happen.

Fans buried their head in the sand.

The board refused to budge.

Fans stayed away.

Lots of reasons why we are where we are.

Ultimately, the people running our club and Mr Bill Bratt especially (He employed Deakin and Miller and turned down Chaudry) should be hung, drawn and quartered.

All of this was so preventable had they sold the club to Chaudry. They didnt. They rejoiced. Some fans rejoiced. Others said supporters will get the club they deserve. Maybe they have. But two things were for certain... This WAS preventable but having not done the right thing, this WAS inevitable.

100% agree, Mo was and still is the right choice.

Liquidation is a serious prospect and as I have said in previous posts this could be the end of Port Vale for good.

I just hope starve em out has not resulted in finished em off and finished the club for good!

Always said it was not a good idea.

You also indicated that Vale paying bills late was nothing to worry about, as it was business....

I don't agree. Once Mo and his team had seen the books he would have run a mile - and I don't blame him!

This mess has been brewing for several years.

Even if the club has been starved of revenue through alienated / disenfrancised supporters, the board of directors must have seen this coming for months. Instead they chose to ignore it until the last possible moment before doing a midnight flit and leaving the SC and their solicitors to clean their **** up.

Time is of the essence in this situation. MOLD/OLD have given the genuine supporters of Port Vale none at all.

With respect I disagree stongly..................The kind of figures talked about being owed are far and away in excess of what SEO might have generated.

SEO did not employ Miller on an inflated salary with perks.

SEO did not employ Deakin on an inflated salary with perks

SEO did not re employ Adams on a greater salary designed to appease supporters.

Blaming SEO for the ongoing problems of at least the last 5 years is a poor excuse for Bratts stewardship.

Bratt is to blame and this must never be forgotten

The fault also lies with a board of directors who must have seen this coming for months but chose to ignore it until the last possible moment before doing a midnight flit and leaving the SC and their solicitors to clean their **** up.

Snake would have known the extent of the damage when he did his comedy hour a couple of weeks ago,and what did he say? Vale are in no worse a situation than a lot of other clubs! Even on Saturday when Carpetman had his say, he asked what the problem was! and I'm still convinced Miller resigned as director when he got binned/resigned as chairman in December. It just didn't suit OLD to tell us about it. IMO of course.
