I think the fact that Mo had the backing of a millionaire Vale fan last time swayed a lot of people,so imo it might help Mo if MS came out and said he backed him again or is part of his plans.

But like i say,lets see what else comes in,i just hope it isnt just the highest bidder. Anyone can buy the club for £2 million and then never put a penny in after that,we need someone with a plan.

You seem to have missed the fact that Mark Simms has said nothing about the Vale since last year's EGM...

 

Pretty much the same as Glenn Oliver, Bratt and one or two others.

 

Mo may well indeed go it alone, we cannot say, everyone seems to be keeping their cards very close to their chest and understanderbly so.

There may yet be more bids but thus far the only thing we can base any thought on is the proposal Mo put forward 12 months ago. He may well expand on that this time, albeit for the Administrators eyes only.

 

Personally I hope Mo gets it, but that does not exclude me backing other bids, as and when/if we get to know how they will affect the clubs future.

Fair point, under the circs he is in I would be schtum too. I bet he comes in and sponsors etc., if not bids, if he sees a future for his club.

 

He'll be supporting Vale, one way or t'other.
