I think the issue with the stumping and the catch is that the third umpire looked once at a zoomed out angle and gave his decision. Since they’ve zoomed the stumping in his foot didn’t look grounded. Agree India are a better test side that us especially in their home conditions

Leech started well this morning. Much more consistent, root needs to bring the boundary saving fielder up though. Pitch looks a nightmare to bat on. If we can make them chase 200 in the last innings I think they will struggle

Game on!! Beautiful from root. Just shows what a spinner should be doing on this wicket. Disgusting test cricket wicket again though this will be over in 3 days

Think a lead of 150 would be challenging for India. But the way the pitch is and how we can implode I wouldn't be surprised to see us 40 odd for 4, which would essentially be 0-4 in the context of the game. If someone can get a century and the rest bat sensibly but also positively, we'll be in decent shape.

I would be amazed if anybody got a century on that wicket which is nowhere near a test match pitch . Somehow we have got to get a lead of 200 plus we are capable its still only a 2nd day pitch hopefully play on the front foot please.
