Norman raised it. I discovered he follows me on here - should I be proud or worried?! It was the first time he called me a liar. He said I'd posted the story on here - which I had as an example of his unwillingness to pay the going rate for a job. But apparently what Askey's Dad told me in Marks and Sparks is complete fiction. The second time he caled me a liar was when I mentioned something he had told me in an email and apparently that was a lie as well!

 

He also said at one point that he hadn’t seen a reply you made to him when he sent out a ‘consultation’ to you RobF and Santa, as it must have been treated as spam by his email system. You couldn’t write this stuff!!

The coventry fuhrer really doesn't care and seeks to blame all with smoke and mirrors whilst squirrelling away money from vale . The club has had more money than at any time since bell era yet we are in the worst position for a good number of years , it obviously doesn't add up but he thinks we are all peasants and he is of a higher plain.

 

Would be good for fans to prove & get together (I'm in)to discredit n target every lie possibly starting with all the statements last night ie has the hugill money been paid up front or is it in instalments etc if we can get the evidence to prove what we know then embarrass him with a campaign -he will lose the presumed higher ground with now where to hide

this was a perfect chance last night to unite all with hope fervour , not just the remainder of the season but for a season ticket push-- what actually happened was it was all lumped on the fans the divide was enlarged , the spirit was even further crushed and hope which football fans thrive on was never evident.

 

He aint no leader but tries to bully people via his position and supposedly wealth to believe his waffle - if you know the story , he is the emperor waiting for his new clothes -

You cannot starve a man out who owns a business losing 160k a month and yet it’s totally self sufficient.

Surely any unscrupulous activity would show in the clubs accounts? Are there ways to hide/disguise him fleecing the club? Where would he have made the money? The only place I can think is through the sales of Alnwick, Grant and Hugill..

 

The part that is making me suspicious is that surely he cannot and would not plug a +£100k shortfall indefinitely that would make no sense as if he’s going to keep adding that onto his already obscene asking price then he’s never going to sell it.

 

There’s something going on and it is up to the fans to find out.

So he wants me buy a season ticket and every other season ticket holder to renew ,because thats how we unite and back him when his decision making has being abysmal and left me and many others thinking i will find something else do on a sat .

Sky has killed football at the top level and at our level .

Football is dead as is our club ,when you look around the area where you used to see folk and they are no longer there watching the Vale . Its asking a lot to keep on paying for mediocrity im sorry thats what it is .

Id rather walk me dog its enjoyable then i could get home and watch a film not run up sdale pick up nephew then head up mother town then after the game be running here ,there and everywhere dropping off .

Its so not enjoyable any more ,ive gone without sleep watch Vale and had to another night shift after .

Im committed but its asking a lot of me do i want sit up there in the cold watching the rubbish we have served up for years .

We at times cannot even throw a ball to our own players ,its all so half hearted .

I have a big decision make at the moment im thinking just go a few games next season ,but i am a big fan of Aspo so im being pulled in both directions .

He has to sell the club will never move forwards while he wants his money back .

Why doesnt he get rich folk work with him new investment etc

I would presume all monies generated by the club isn't given to the club- if he takes a cut via other business thus starving the club money then giving that money he has took back to the club in a directors loan--I'm sure this would be legal even if not ethical and in the best interests of his pvfc business..

You could have 2 companies 1 charge the other for services , product etc if you own both companies who is going to disagree with the amount as the person that loses on one hand gains on the other-would be my guess..

 

Just like the rumour bill bell did when buying chesters old stand for 35k with one business then selling it to his pvfc business for 75K-now that's not in the interest of fans and pvfc but th eperson himself -- the main probable diff with bell was he took some but gave the manager some..norman just takes

For once I agree with you. I care about this great club probably too much but it’s in my blood. It’s an addiction I can’t kick. Smurf has brought this club to its knees. It’s a catch 22. Boot him out by way of protest and we go under. Keep him in power and we go under. I am one of the lucky ones I can hold on to the Rudge/Aspo era but some of our dwindling support has only watched absolute dross. What chance has the great men Sir John and the Legend got? If we stay up it will be a MIRACLE. But is that simply prolonging the inevitable under this Chairman?

My only guilt is not going along to give my support to Aspo, along with Rudgie. I truly believe we have something pretty special there, but it's totally wasted under this ****. I hate him for that alone.

So that’s it. What have we heard we didn’t already know ? - NOTHING. What are his plans for the future ? NOTHING. What has he given Aspin ?- NOTHING. NS ? Nothing Smurfthwaite. Or more accurately Nothing ********Fu** Smurfthwaite. I really am at the end of my tether with this latest shambles in the Port Vale soap opera. I fear that the last episode is already on the horizon.
