I agree with the first part. I think we were unlucky tonight, the same can't be said for many of our previous games. Crewe, Notts Count, FGR etc.

I disagree that we are none of those things. We were the better team tonight. They created very little and but for the width of the post, and the bar, we'd have won the game.

We battered Crewe with ten men and notts County offered very little.

I don't think we were that poor in those games.

Apathetically sitting in the Railway Regal.

I've given up the protest; people don't like the idea of staying away, which is fair enough. I enjoy live football too much to break the habit after I missed FGR and then realised not many had bothered boycotting, but jesus was tonight a struggle.

I know if I said anything in the game I'd get told off and to 'save it for the end'. I don't have the balls to risk the abuse we got in the V2001 days. Shoot me.

Maybe I am to be blamed for not having the guts to start a protest by myself. I've just had enough pal.

Very disappointing comments from you if I'm honest. You're clearly a reasonably intelligent bloke but all you can find to do is belittle fans who have honestly given up fighting for a better Port Vale. Hope you have a good night.

Woah

You are the one goading people saying that our fans wouldn't 'dare' protest. I'm not belittling anybody.

Going off your very opinionated posts I assumed you would have been leading the charge round to the lorne street. Sorry if I got that wrong.

no fan should be moaned at by another fan for their choice in what they choose to do watch/stay away/protest /don't protest- the problem isn't the fans more as the predicament we are in and the way forward will divide opinion as v2001 did, ultimately we all have a common cause & want the best just dif viewpoints how to go about it-- We need to stay strong as fans but you are right years of being tested is wearing thin with all no matter what individual beliefs & causing the apathy you rightly comment on-

Its like a film when the music changes to upbeat &you know the happy ending is around the corner the only thing is vales speakers are crap with nothing upbeat to play

Yeah real wetter isn't it mate? Hope you're having a rayt good chuckle at it all.

Not goading anyone, you and I both know if I was stood outside the Lorne Street with a Smurf out banner I'd probably get more stick than support. "He saved us, he's got the cash, learnt from his mistakes".

I was involved in the protests last time, and promised myself I wouldn't put myself through it again, probably cus I'd get spat at again by patronising fans such as yourself.

Not much say really .

We scored then we gave away two poor goals then Accrington looked secure and defrietas needs to learnto shoot at goal.

The four changes made no sense tome looked more better with Turner tonge and him who needs learn to shoot properly on .

Wilson looked very edgy all night .

A ok performance but horrendous result

Get a grip.

You've done nothing but blame fans for not protesting in recent weeks, then you admit you are not even protesting yourself, and you play the victim card when someone calls you out on it.

Either put your money where your mouth is or do us all a favor and shut up blaming everyone else.

Why would I spit at you? Clown.

I stayed away through choice at FGR, which in my view was a protest in 'recent weeks'. I chanted at the back end of last season.

I bet I was one of a dozen boycotting and one of 50 chanting. I've tried mate, people aren't bothered. You been arguing with me about Smurf for ages, you know I've been agitating. I've given up cus its not going to happen. How are you struggling?

If people were up for it and I was sitting back, fair enough. In my view I've called for a change in leadership for long enough, been involved in the meagre efforts enough. I started a thread the other week which got around 6 responses, 3 from me.

What should I be doing then? Standing alone outside the Lorne Street, hoping to gain support? Starting a march solo from the Bulls Head? Chanting alone in the railway?

"Get a grip". I've asked to kick off and no ones shown interest. I don't know what more I can do.

Edit: regarding spitting, I was spat at on Hamil Road during the 2nd V2001 march.

Wouldn't bother with him. He did the same when V2001 were at their shannanigans.
