Think Richards should be dropped did well till he came back

 

Jesus wept, yeah it was all rico's fault we lost as he didn't create a piece of magic out of nothing that was given to him while the defence stood and watched players stroll past them. Genius!

And don't tell me...replace him with louis ****ing dodds!

 

Rico didn't manage to do much yesterday, though I don't remember one decent forward pass to the forwards all game. And he was a damn site better than Sean 'I've had two good games in 3 years' Rigg.

Right back isn't the problem area. We have a winger at left back because Micky got it wrong in Pre season.

 

Spot on about left back. Rob Taylor should play left wing/ left midfield or be on the bench he's the only one with any pace who creates anything at the moment.

They put a whippet on that side, played everything down that side, and created havoc.

 

Is it just me that thinks both Horsefield and Grew have a great ability to open gob when it would be better shut?

 

Also, with the benefit of hindsight, should have switched to 4-4-2 very early and replaced Rigg with Morsey and started playing it on the ground instead of hoofing it up to their centre backs.

Yes he did nothing, but he had no service, we all know hes not a hard worker like Pope, he is a goal scorer and he isnt going to score the goals if there are no chances for him.

The complete lack of even 'reasonable' wingers at Vale Park recently never ceases to amaze me.

Any half-decent winger should be walking barefoot to Vale Park in the hope of getting a chance to play on our wide open spaces.

 

However we seem, for some reason totally beknown to me, to shun wingers like the Plague.

 

It's no use having one of the largest pitches in the entire footballing World, when we utilise only a small part of it.

 

Seems to me we should reduce the pitch to it's bare minimum, that way Thommo can put the ball directly onto Popey's head inside the opposition box.

 

Opposition wingers would struggle in the over-congested midfield and our one-dimensional style of play would be more suited to playing at home.
