Robbie Earle's Perm

Robbie Fowler has just got his UEFA Pro licence. Might consider the Vale alongside an experienced mentor. Has contacts and he owes me massively as I tried to get him to go to the Vale when he was in my class and school team.

I asked Liverpool scouts to turn up when he went to Liverpool school boys trial and he got signed. Maybe he could buy the club.

He has applied for the Leeds job in the past, he also "dabbles" in property so Norman would feel at *home*.

Has anyone yet confirmed our budget and other teams in £s think we have a low to middle budget (750k to £1m) so accys might be on a par- we have so many loan players whom their parent clubs be letting us have on a non contributory basis along with young first pros which wont cost much .

Zero chance not with Pope taking up 130k per annum! Then you have all these other former league 1 players. We now have a squad (ludicrously) of 36 players so even if you average that out at 50k per year per player that's 1.8 million. We have the 350k from player sales on top of ST sales. Brown and Garlick both have spoken positively about the budget and I'm sure the owner said it's bigger than last season.

The simple problem is just been wasted on quantity over quality for the third plank manager running.

I'm not sure about Billy Davies, as he recently pulled out of the Hearts job due to their unwillingness to change the way the club works internally. I'm not sure he and Norman would get on if he wanted wholesale changes at VP however much they are needed.

Bigger team and more finance and potential. History is littered with managers that have gone backwards to bigger teams to go forwards.

At the bottom of league Two?

More chance of Smurf being Prime Minister than Ainsworth leaving Wycombe for us.
