To be honest now, we are all British and commited to leaving the EU, there are no brexiters or remainers we are or should be one, getting the best, fairest deal we can... instead both sides are sniping at each other, trying to score points off of each other.

So mods is it time to close this thread down? as we seem to be going round in circles... anyway the new promotion season starts tomorrow.

As the major political topic a new thread is likely to be started if it was closed, irrespective if Brexit is abandoned or trundles on for 4/5 more years, who knows?

Considering London is number 1 financial centre in the world and its nearest rival in Europe being Frankfurt is 32nd we should be opptimistic but pragmatic.

 

Trump's plans re deregulation are somewhat troubling but the devil will be in the detail. Some of the regulations brought in by Obama have done good but others are too restrictive, We don't want a return to the casino days but financial institutions must be allowed to take risks.

 

Don't be surprised if the next president is a banker..the current president is something similar.

How do you know what is going on in people's lives for them not to run with a reply to your bigoted hate posts.

 

I have made just a few posts this week, mostly on Port Vale (remember them ? - as many of your pals don't seem to ever post on them) but have had other priorities, so don't try to drag people into your puerile rubbish posts and straw-man discussions.

 

You don't get the satisfaction of me discussing this because you have no intention of ever listening to anyone else, any other opinion and just want to score points and poke belittling jibes.

 

Personally, I think that you might consider the UK economy before laughing at countries on the other side of the world just because you don't like their leaders.

You are entitled of course to think it irrelevant or pathetic, but you have not given me any insight into your views on Jeremy Corbyn's love of Venezuala and its socialist revolution--after all, it was your beloved leader who suggested we should follow Venezuela's socialist/economic model!

 

Of course it has everything to do with the UK economy if Jeremy and John McDonnell et al try and take us down the Venezuelan model should they, God forbid ever get into government. I am very open to hearing your views, but as I expected, you have not answered my perfectly reasonable question regarding Jeremy Corbyn and Venezuela.

You should not name other people and post provocative posts demanding that they answer you - thankfully I am not in the situation of having an emergency but what if someone had a family illness, bereavement or serious issue to attend to rather than bicker with you and your vipers nest of know-all mates.

 

I am busy and am not a politician campaigning who you can demand answers off - especialy when you think you know everything about everything already in your own feeble minded posts.
