Considering how big a deal some numpties are making about the start of the season they have had, and that Liverpool are somewhat unconvincing at present along with missing two key players in Mane and Lallana, I'd expect United to at least do better than one shot on target. They won't get near to City this season come May despite the current league positions.

I anticipate Liverpool will finish in the top 4 in terms of goals scored but not league position. At their best, they are still good to watch. United got what they came for, Lukaku was too isolated (probably deliberately) and Matic did not get on the ball enough to allow United to dictate play for longer than a couple of minutes here and there.

 

City's goals were magnificent. Chelsea will rue selling Costa. Arsenal aren't good enough. Top 2 will be United and City, not sure which order. Third will be Spurs. Fourth will be at least 8 points behind Spurs.

Agree although I was at Wembley yesterday to watch Spurs and thought they were very disappointing and lucky to win the game. They are all set up for counter attacking hence why they are better away from home.
