Anyway, according to a poll today, Labour has closed the gap to 12 points! 3 weeks to go... Not hoping for anything yet although the tories' fundamentally **** manifesto might see the gap close further.

I think Labour have had a really good campaign so far and, for me, it proves that when Corbyn actually has the space to speak about his vision for the country, people find themselves agreeing with him.

It gets me how people complained that politicians were all the same, there was too much spin and not enough MPs who genuinely cared, and then when they're shown Corbyn they go 'ooh, no, he doesn't look like a PM, he's scruffy, he's not wearing a tie. I prefer that (archetypal parliamentarian) Theresa May.'

Same with Wilson, had a Northern accent, didn't talk posh.

You should know by now that they seem to think they are allowed to say anything about Corbyn, but the fox-hunting vampire and her bloodlusters mustn't be criticised, ghastly as they are.

Ties will be laughed at in 20 years time, probably sooner.

Depending on who is talking, I hear opposite opinions on the countries debt. From the it's reduced, to the tories have borrowed more in 7 years than all labour governments ever and have doubled the debt.

Either way, may thinks it's its important that people can torture and kill animals for fun, which is a characteristic of a sociopath. I don't want a sociopath running the country.

So you are that desperate to persuade people to vote Labour you have decided to start a second thread....they couldn't commit to reducing immigration and supplying a realistic target could they...the rest is history as they say. Anyone with ANY sense at all will vote Tory in Stoke on Trent this time around and get the Brexit we ASKED for!!

If voting Tory is based on immigration, is that based on the tories immigration numbers since coming into government? It seems you have no idea why you want to vote Tory except for that your ukip friends have told you to hate labour (because they are the votes ukip want).

Many experts and even tory politicians admit that immigration is likely to go up not down. We have a nasty undercurrent of racism, especially locally, which makes me ashamed of where I live. I believe this to be the route cause of the rise of ukip etc

Most people are that thick that they believe all the anti immigrant propaganda fed to them. I agree that we cannot open our doors to all and sundry but problems in the NHS and with things like housing and welfare are not caused by immigrants, they're caused by chronic underfunding and a systematic tory ideology which blames others (immigrants, benefit claimants, disabled, and now elderly) and punish them for having the temerity to struggle with money.

Did you know that immigrants contribute more in taxes paying for your NHS, infrastructure, police etc than they take out? Doesn't get reported does it? The NHS and much of the service industry would collapse over night without immigrants. In fact the bloody irony is that many of us are actually second or third generation immigrants in this country! We've all probably originated from other countries at some point .

The EU out vote was pushed over the line by ukip casual racists in my opinion. The tories win from this as everyone buys their strong and stable ********. A hard brexit will completely **** us over and we will end up more broke than we've ever been.
