As people have said, its not even the ludicrous on the field decisions he's taken. Its the fact the club feels dead. Devoid of optimism. Every matchday is a chore. The scary thing for me is I look at us sat in the relegation zone and I'm struggling to feel that bothered. When I'd previously either go to every game or blindly stay up into the very early hours when living abroad and listen to it on Valiant Player, I just can't be bothered anymore. When I do listen to it the opposition inevitably score and I turn it off because there's no point, that game is lost.

 

The bumbling mess we've endured over the last few years has just completely robbed me of all enthusiasm and motivation for the football club.

 

 

Doubtless the happy clappers will be along momentarily to wax lyrical about OVF having a meltdown after we've lost a game. Lads, this season has been a ******* train wreck. We're going to go down with a whimper and it's been on the cards for months.

I just can't see where the win will come from now we are losing players every game due to injury. Another injury today which means Walker wont play again for us, and he seemed the only one who knew where the goal could be. Big Reg may be injured and so not fit. Lady luck is also having a go at the Vale.

 

Unless Smurf agrees to bringing in players who are free agents and can help the squad we will be down with games in hand. This will be a costly thing for Smurf as the fans will walk and show him they are fed up with the way he is conducting business at the Vale. No plans, no strategy and just do things on the cheap all the time.

 

The great experiment on the cheap did not work. A foreign manager, quantity over quality in the hope of selling them on, did not work and has cost us our league place.

The gamble didn't pay off with Bruno so plan b was experience! Should of bought a decent manager in to get us out of this mess! And 4 million for the vale never!!

I have been told that at the last match Smurthwaite was overheard saying that whatever happens Brown will not be the manager next season. Did anyone else hear this?
