Brown is an old school pro, he knows what English fans want to see and how teams should be set up in this league.

He knew that the first thing he needed to do was to make us difficult to beat, turn defeats into draws and slowly turn draws into victories.

Yes, the three teams we have played in the league may have been below us so we could argue we should have perhaps won at least one more of the 3 games but he's had little time and the main priority was to instil some team belief back into the lads.

I think under Bruno we would definitely have lost on Friday night but Brown has got the team believing again and playing further up the field and actually giving it a go.

 

I for one was not too unhappy at his taking over and although some were clamouring for a new broom I personally think he was the right choice it being half way through the season and him knowing the players and also knowing where we needed to change.

 

His hands have been tied somewhat as to who he can bring in but the immediate signs are good and I have to say it's a long while since I saw a player have a debut like Guy did on Friday.

Enjoyed the game Friday. Shame we couldn't get three points. Guy & Walker look terrific loan signings, Forrester & JJ need game time and Foley on the way back. For all those slagging Granty, he was putting the effort in until he got a rediculous booking from Mr Whistlehappy and was then treading very thin ice. Overall I am optimistic with Browny compared with a massive decline under the Portuguese waiter. Here's hoping we are heading in the right direction.

Brown has done everything he needed to so far, chance after chance created last night. Bit of atmosphere back, certainly a lot of entertainment and lots of chances created. Things are looking up for the second half of our season aren't they ?

It might even make some of the moaners on here think about going to a game.... probably not.
