Just been get my tickets. About 400 tickets we sold for this game so far. Was expecting double that tbh so far.

3 of us going, will be getting them later in the week probably. I think the fact most (including me) are expecting another Sheff Utd may put some off, along with the price.

Also, check out our record, we've only ever beaten them twice, & it was in the same year, in '88!

Going this one just for the stadium although it is a bit pricey, can see us getting thumped tho

Save your dosh. It's an atmosphere-less conference venue and hotel with a football pitch in the middle. It's nowhere near Bolton and will be at least half-empty.

To be fair mate, there's probably going to be a better atmosphere at this one than the reverse fixture, or for any home game we have all season. Can't really rip them for attendances either when you look at how below par ours have been this season so far.

This could and should have been a huge Vale awayday.

I predict we'll take about 600 rather than the 1000 plus we would have taken at a reasonable cost.

Well done Bolton you bunch of *****.

I reckon we'll hit around 800 now, but either way, if we'd have been top of the league then we would have taken a lot more too. I'd say away performances are a bigger factor right now than the price. Maybe not for everyone, but generally people will always pay to watch a winning team.

How much would you pay to get into an away game? £21, £22? It's only another £4, £5. Chicken feed really.

Well I'm glad that £5 is chickenfeed for you. I suspect that's not the case for millions of people in the UK.

The cost of watching football without a season ticket is absurd and for that reason I do maybe 6 away games a season.

I'll happily transfer you £4 or £5 if it helps you with the ticket cost?
