Sheerer was saying the prem lge should charge no more than £10 per ticket because of the deal with sky next year to keep bums on seats as playing in empty stadiums is not the answer so good by small clubs they can not survive on low ticket prices.

It dunna suit us lads gloating at a few bad results and empty seats down the road. I`ve seen so called Valiants call it a day early at Huddersfield only for the Vale turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 win. On current form they are probably the worst team in the division and long may it continue but we leave ourselves open moaning about lack of crowds and atmosphere.

Seriously though, fair play to the Liverpool fans who walked out, putting the prices up to £78 when they are getting the mega bucks sky money is obscene hopefully, IMO, fans of other clubs will follow suit. Although cheaper prem tickets would make it more difficult for the likes of us to compete.

Stoke well and truly put in their place over the last couple of weeks. They were getting ideas above their station and a serious dose of reality will do them good.

Champions league .... Ha ha

And, why does every thread that mentions Stoke immediately get shifted off the main forum???

Totally agree. All the stoke 'fans' on radio stoke earlier this season, "we can finish top four. We're going to win league cup" etc. Good to see them taken down a peg or 2. Long may it continue. At least till all the plastics desert them.

Agreed. I note, however, that seven of the so called big clubs in the Prem voted against a motion to make away tickets cost a maximum of £30. I have no idea what on earth their justification can be for such a decision. Charging £30 a game instead of say, £45, for an average away following of 2500 would cost clubs about £700K - two weeks wages for Rooney. Madness.

Let's be honest all football fans love there team doing well (easily get carried away ) but when they lose a few it's doom and gloom . Just look at teams who get promoted they have great attendances then the following year in a better league when they mid table attendances drop and everyone moans .
