Did you go TP? I went yesterday for the first time in over 7 years and there was no way your Chairman couldn't hear the chant. unless he is now deaf of course. As for only a minority it sounded like it was the whole of the Boothen end, that is a few more than a minority.

Is he having a dig? He's basically saying he didn't hear any chanting but if there was he doesn't condone it, The Sentinel headline seems to be their own poor attempt at sarcasm to me.....

 

All right then I'll bite.....Coates "commented" on the chants that he conveniently didnt hear.

Which man was that then? There was an alleged incident where a car pulled over on Stanley Matthews Way and the driver shouted racial abuse at a passer by, the last I read police didn't know if it was a Stoke or a Liverpool fan (if either?) but happy to stand corrected if you can guide me to any more up to date articles on the matter.....

 

That's what I read as well but not read any follow up
