The Bible, the book of God/Jesus' teachings, the basis of Christianity, and you're saying you don't need to look in it to explain Christian values to me? You're painting yourself as a practicing Christian yet don't seem to have any regard for what is fundamental to the religion. Have you actually read The Bible? Do you know what is taught in the Old Testament? Do you consider that you follow Old Testament values?

 

Instead of focusing on Christianity why don't you focus on Islam and what values are of theirs that are welcome in UK society. After all, Islam is the subject matter that is fundamental to this thread's title and maybe you can argue on what good Islam brings to a British society from an ideological point of view?

Why do we need a separate thread to talk abut Islam...I personally couldn't care less about Islam...This is a Christian country and I expect to live in a society with Christian values. I challenged him because he was trying to divert away from the subject matter and to use his word..Fundemental
