Invite to Robert Lee from Supporters Club

Hi all,

 

Before going on holiday I sent the email previously published on OVF to Robert Lee.

 

As I hadn't received any acknowledgment of that email I sent a second email again asking for him to attend an open meeting and re-assuring him that the meeting would be properly controlled in a professional manner.

 

Although I have not received a direct reply to that email either I have unofficially been told that because my emails included the words Port Vale his filter has been set-up so that they automatically go into his 'junk' folder which I find to be very disappointing.

 

I have made it very clear that I do not wish to attend any meeting with him personally unless it is an open meeting attended by fans as I believe the job of the SC is to simply be a conduit between Vale fans and the club / Board itself.

 

If Robert Lee does intend taking a leading role at our club I again appeal to him to accept this invitation to meet with the fans and I will be attempting to contact him by phone this week.

If Robert Lee wants to attend an open forum then he'll arrange one or get in touch with you. It's quite clear he doesn't want to.

 

All he has to do is reply and say no. You never know, he might want to meet the fans and is just waiting for an invitation. Sometimes people are polite and wait to be invited. Sometimes, people just invite themselve even when they're not wanted. Like you ........ on this message board. :razz::razz::razz:

I suspect maybe Rob Lee has now ditched all association with PVFC. He got what he wanted, a full return on his investment (how many 'shareholders' apart from him and Melv will be able to say that in 5 years time).

He's seen just how unpopular he's become in an incredibly short space of time and probably thinks he's had a very lucky escape.

I think there's more chance of getting Bill Bratt to a supporters club meeting than Rob Lee.

Rob Lee must have learned a trick or two about using filters from the Vale board members.

 

Their filters send all emails containing the words "investment", "buy shares", "million pounds" and "24.9%" to the "Deleted Items" folder.

To be fair for a moment. Glenn always replied to my emails with "buy shares" in the header. Kinda guess that may not be the case now?:shutup:
