Time To Build The Buzz...

Having not seen a game yet due to being away it's brilliant to read the positive comments on OVF about our performances. I know it's early days and we have to manage our expectations to make sure we don't get to carried away but it's time to start encouraging people back to vale park. Norman has done so much for our club already but I'd like to see some incentive games like the ones we had in our promotion season. Given what people are saying about the football the product seems to be taking shape now we need to sell, sell, sell! Time to get back to the vale and get behind this new direction we seem to be taking. Well done everyone involved up to this point, long may it continue.

Ps I'm a season ticket holder so not just trying to get cheap tickets for myself! Haha.

Best way to build the buzz is to carry on what we are doing on the pitch. Incentives do not work long term, getting a result on Tuesday will open more eyes and get more through the gate.

Consistent performances is the key, nothing, more nothing less.

I assume you don't work in sales ?

Getting the flex tickets on sale again would be a good call.

Agree with that, we,ve got 21 games left, can't see why the 10 game tickets can't go back on sale, after all if some one turned up at the ticket office wanting to buy individual tickets for the next 10 games would they be refused? What's the difference?.

Don't agree if something's good it needs shoving in people faces as much as possible! We should be posting extended highlights of the football we are playing all over the place as well as enticing people lo come ie marketing the product. Not relying on the hardcore. Who knows we might pick up some new fans on the way. If the product is good you need to sell it. This is possibly the biggest opportunity for the club to market itself to the wider community for years, get it right now and we could benefit from it for years to come.

I would suggest that SMURF is getting it right (that's what you were alluding too, wasn't it?) ;)

Eventually more will drift back if the product is entertaining, which it certainly has been.

There have been a lot of games crammed close together (including the Crewe, Burnley and WBA matches), plus the normal home league fixtures against poorly supported away teams.

It's been a lot to splash out in a short space of time. I think that partly explains Saturday's poor gate but they missed a treat!
