Something Different - Your Trips To Nottingham

I seem to have got off on the wrong foot with a few of you on here so a total change of tact, a nice friendly thread that hopefully will not turn into a Board/Mo/Takeover squabble.

 

Have many of you many memories to our nice City of Nottingham??? Been to your place a few times (with Forest), can remember playing you at your place not long ago in League 1, always a decent away trip although the town centre seems a bit on the rough side and some of the pubs appeared to be frequented by some dodgy types.

 

Always seem to see you take a good following to County, couple of times I've been in the Bentinck (pub opposite Nottingham station) for a quick pint before getting the train away to watch Forest and it's been packed out with Vale going to County.

 

Anyone given Hooters a pre-match visit? ===

Nottinghham is one of my favourite away days

 

I remember playing County away about 7 years ago, train to Nottingham, pint by the station, in hooters by 11 and on the stella

Dads family comes from nottingham,some in beeston if i remember right.Also found out my family also used to look after woolaton hall...in early 1900s.always enjoyed visiting,and dads family tried make me a forest fan when i was a kid used to stand in trent end,ehen clough won the european cup for.2nd time! But my mums side kept takin me.the vale,and i was hooked. Still keep eye on forest tho.

I have fond memories of Nottingham.I was in digs in Sawley whilst I served my first year apprenticeship.I had my very first pint of beer in Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem and Forest were my second team back then.

Stayed in Nottingham when we were going to watch robot wars being recorded. Razer won the world championship and my son used a urinal for the first time. So some fond memories of Nottingham.

Forest fans are miserable sods, we passed them on the bus to Burnley in January (they were on the way to Deepdale I believe) and while a number of our fans waved to them they just glared back at us! Cheer up lads, you could be in League Two!!
