An absolute weapon. Sure, I've gotten into petty squabbles with a number of users here over the years, but it's a forum at the end of the day and I don't take any of it too seriously. But he's the only member I have genuine dislike for.

Gotze is a superb young player if he can find the form he did under Klopp before, but I'm not sure who makes way out of the starting 11 for him. He has to accompdate both him and Coutinho somehow. I think Henderson will have to accept being a back up player or will have to move on.

It seems that Gotze has sworn his allegiance to Bayern today?

Seems that way, thought all in all that means very little. As much of a quality signing Gotze would be, central midfield isn't a weak area in the squad when you consider Liverpool already have Lucas, Can, Allen, Henderson, Milner, Grujic and Coutinho, along with a very talented youngster named Cameron Brannagan who Klopp is a big fan of. With the signings already in place next season I'd be happy with a left-back like Betrand and perhaps Walcott who might be available. Danny Ings will give Klopp a further option he didn't have all season too. Gotze would be a marquee signing of course but personally I would much rather see a bid made for Marco Reus.

If we let those two in it could open the door for the likes of Aberdeen,Hearts and Hibs?

The quality range from top to bottom of the SPL is much greater than the EPL, but as much as I oppose any of them ever joining, if they ever did end up in L1, it would be mega satisfying to watch us beat them!

I think they're probably more mid-low Championship quality though. Most of the others, & possibly those you mention, I reckon would be a dead cert for L1. It'd be a massive kick in the teeth for non-league English sides though, letting them straight into the league. They should be made to work for it first. I don't think Rangers/Celtic would avoid relegation from the PL in their first season. Half of the reason for that being that most of our sides would probably up their game to put them to the sword too.

The PL might be second to La Liga right now in regards to the best sides, but with Guardiola, Mourinho, Klopp, Conte and Pochettino it certainly has the best managers. You'd think that given time Guardiola and Mourinho will make their respective Manchester clubs genuine superpowers again, although it certainly won't happen overnight, while the other three managers are amongst the best younger generation managers around.

Arsenal will continue to lag behind and perhaps fall even further until they replace that old goat Wenger.

Silly Beechy. You been on the wine gums again. Flopp and Ponch are woeful managers. Arsenal had their worst season for years, and Spuds had their best season for ever, yet they still couldn't finish above the Wenger boys. Only Spuds could finish 3rd in a 2 horserace. And Klopp? One of the best managers around? Really? If Flopp was manager at any other club, you be saying the same thing. Awful manager. Flopp and Ponch will be gone before Wenger. Plus its Liverpool who continue to lag behind.

A good start for Arsenal in the signing of Granit Xhaka for 35m. Shame your boys cant attract players like that eh.

Klopp a woeful manager? You're the one that's been on the wine gums! He's won the German title twice, runners up twice and been to the final of the Champions League. When he took them over in May 2008 they had finished 13th. Wenger on the other hand has been in his job at Arsenal since 1996, only won 3 titles and hasn't won a title since 2004. Their biggest achievement is beating their rivals (who have been below them for 20consecutuve seasons) to second. Liverpool, despite having a poor squad by their standards and lacking in several key areas managed to get to 2 cup finals.

Klopp has got a long way to go to turn Liverpool round and make his tenure a success, but a woeful manager? Wenger couldn't go do Dortmund and do what Klopp did.

Hey u nah, its the other chuckle brother. Shame you couldn't see i was winding Beechy up. Tongue and check and all that. Like i said though, Good managers come and go, yet Mr Wenger is still here challenging season after season, making millions of pounds on the way. Whatever you or your chuckle brother think, Wenger is still one of the best managers around. To me to you.

I like Arsenal but what in the name of wholly flip did Wenger 'challenge' this season aside from the patience of some of the fans?

Until that useless bliddy chairman challenges him to actually spend some serious money and actually 'challenge' for the league Arsenal will just bob along in the top four. That shouldn't be acceptable for a massive club.

Make the Manchester clubs superpowers again? When were Citeh ever a superpower, or even a power? 2 League titles in however many years, one against the worst Utd team in 25 years at that time, another against Luis Suarez by himself.

Ahh, yes, another midfielder to add to the 30 you already have! Xhaka is a good young player but isn't what you need to make you a better side at all. And to call Klopp 'Flopp' and insist he's somehow a woeful manager just smacks of absolute desperation on your part. Either that or you're now mentally unstable and a threat to society! Seriously. I'm genuinely concerned about you.

While Wenger remains Arsenal will go sideways at best. No two ways about it.
