Ramsey didn't look offside to me. A lucky break. But Petr Cech's goal has lead a charmed life in the first half. It's a good game to watch.

He was just onside. Definitely lucky for us and unlucky for Arsenal, but I think Liverpool hitting the woodwork twice through Coutinho is desperately unlucky too.

Draw about right really. As entertaining a 0-0 as you're likely to see. Another clean sheet and top notch defensive showing by Liverpool at the back, a complete reversal of the last few seasons.

Arsenal were dissapointing and don't look like they'll challenge City and probably Chelsea for the title.

What does Coutinho have to do to get into the Brazilian team, most Brazilian of Brazilian players around at the moment.

Yes,you are quite correct,he is Braziliian.;)he played very well first half, faded a little in the second.Did Firmino actually play last night?Decent game but the frailties are there ,for all to see in both teams.City will win the league ,United will run them close,Chelsea third.Liverpool and Arsenal battling it out for a distant 4th.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but after a few games it looks like becoming the usual Chelsea/Man City fight for the title.

Man City have started really well and with Aguero, Silva and Sterling have some very skilful and fast attacking players. It looks like their lads are determined to put last year behind them.

Chelsea have stuttered, though Pedro looks a good buy, and you can never write off the special one.

I bet there are still a few rabbits to be pulled out of hats before the deadline at the end of the month.

I've been quite impressed with Liverpool but I wouldn't class them as on a par with the above.

You must have missed the point where he tackled his own player in the first 5 minutes and was lucky Ramsey (I think) didn't nip in and score. I didn't watch the second half, so maybe he improved?

He had one or two rash moments but he was by far the most solid defender on the pitch. Lovren has also looked much more solid too this season and more like the player we thought we had signed from Southampton, though he needs to keep it up.

Benteke,£32 million:ohmy:.First touch like Peter Sutcliffe.

His first-touch isn't brilliant but technically he's better than some give him credit for, and he scared the life out of Arsenal last night at times. It's just a shame that Liverpool couldn't keep it up in the 2nd half, although Arsenal were always going to improve, and Liverpool couldn't get the ball into him enough. I think he's already proving to be an excellent signing for us as he gives the side a completely new dimension, and should only get better when Sturridge returns as he won't have two center-backs to contend with game after game.

Firmino was quiet but it was always a massive ask to throw him into an away game against a side we have a shocking record against. He has pace and good movement and once settled should give the side what Sterling did.

How do you think you will line up if and when Sturridge comes back?
