I didn't realise one good season made you a 50m player. Cuadrado scored at the world cup , what's your point?

 

Son is a very good player, has been consistently good in Germany for several years now. 22 million maybe a little high but he is the poster boy in Korea so Im sure Spurs will recuperate most of that money back through income from the Korean market. Is still a little bit lightweight so will need some time to get used to the premiership. Overall though a good signing even though the price maybe a little inflated. why spurs bought him when they have several players of tha same ilk, i dont know.

Mourinho doesn't half waste some money,Andre Schurrle and Juan Cuadrado to mention just two,you have to question his judgement at times?

 

TV money to EPL clubs, that money then to Bundesligia or other clubs in inflated transfer fees, players fail in EPL then back to Bundesligia or elsewhere and the circus goes on. Would be amusing but we're all paying for this via tv subscriptions.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm just concerned that no Asian players have ever really been a success over here and that 22m seems excessive. Like you say it maybe that it's been motivated by shirt sales over in Asia more than seeking out a top 4 quality forward.

Spurs have gone from being a team capable of finishing top 4 to a side that will be lucky to qualify for the europa league this year.

 

We can go on about Rodgers wasting the Suarez money but Spurs are perhaps even worse with all the poor signings they made with the Bale money?

I did one of those per season predictors and had pochettino first sacking , spurs look rubbish. As I pointed out 7-8 weeks ago, it's a big season for Kane and he's flattering to deceive. Defenders know what to expect and I think he's scored 2 in his last 14 starts now.

 

Plus eriksen is injured who is their only decent player these days. Everton are a good bet later on.
