Dodds isn't a winger and is best playing off a striker but he can play on the wing in the same fashion as Alan Ball and Martin Peters played for England in 1966. Dodds is a useful signing IMO.

U would think that playing as an attacker u would have thought he would get more than about 3 goals. What u have to ask yourself is if he was that good then why has no one ever tried to sign him? Not rocket science is it. He's s *** and 1 of the reasons I wo t be renewing my season ticket. £350 to watch the likes of Dodds, Birchall Yates. No taa.

I just can't understand why we've offered all these sub standard players a new contract. I understand that you need to keep some team morale but surely it would have been better to offer better deals to say Marshall and o Connor plus a few other half decent ones like Neal, vessels etc. and offloaded the birchalls, Yates and williamsons of this world?

 

You can't just keep people on because they're a good laugh in the changing rooms.

 

I suspect page will live and die by his decisions and I know where my money would go.

But money is not the only factor for a signature, location of family and travelling are also other aspects.

I think page and Adams both like playing him there when up against a strong winger as he's good defensively. Tracks back well and will help the right back out. I do agree though for me if dodds is to play it's behind a striker or not at all.

Interesting that three of the players you think we should keep, O'Connor, Marshall and Veseli (all of whom I hope stay) were not at the club when we finished 9th in League One yet the ones you want to see go were. ;)
