I wouldn't bother .... I snapped up the odds for vale to finish in the top half last season - 4/1, couldn't believe the value so went a bit overboard, they soon kicked the hope outta that bet! 😡

I'd say 66/1 is about right. I think one or two other sides are way too short though, not least the team at the top!

Sheffield United always get short odds as they are a big club for the division and I thought they were bought out by some Middle Eastern bloke about 18 months ago? Blackpool should do well as they still have a few very good players left and a budget far bigger than ours.

 

Coventry are awful odds. I would say they are more likely to go down than us. The Ricoh arrangement means WASPS get the money but Cov don 't.

 

Swindon looks a good shout, those are long odds for a strong team.

Why, are they moving Swindon closer to Burslem? It's about 140 miles away at the moment!

 

I don't bother too much with bookies odds until much nearer the start of the season, there's a lot of squad building to be done at most clubs yet.
