When we got relegated last time it was because V2001 didn't invest in a quality loan striker for the run in.

 

I think Norman's decision not to bring in the loan signing might just cost him a huge Mount of money.

You don't challenge the fans to turn up on the promise of signing a quality player you sign the player first - if you have the money.

 

he did bring players in. He's bought a lot in.

 

I'm going to set this one aside though first - Greenridge, Harry P and other young players we bought in were for the future, or for us to have a look at. Those two didn't work out, Andoh and Deen Conteh did. So lets not get our knickers in a twist over them.

 

However Norman HAS invested in the squad. He spent money on Campion, he's backed Page with many loan signings. It's Page who chooses to stick them on the bench.

 

Striker for the run in? Coulibaly is a striker/winger. Campion is a striker. why aren't they playing?

Great idea let's all go next Saturday and in a match where the team will need all out instituting support, even if we go behind, let's start the match with a round of Sack the Manager, - that will be really helpful. If that's what anyone is thinking of doing then stay at home.

Am I annoyed with the season? Yes. Do I agree with Page's tactics? Not really, no.

 

Am I a Vale fan? Unfortunately. Will I be there on Saturday? Of course.
