This must be one of the reasons why BB said it would take several months for any takeover. Ridiculous that this decision has been made now when it could have been done months ago but I suppose it is a very minimal shift in the Board's stance so we will have to go with it.

 

That said, if they come out and say the vote was a no against the bid...................

They can fanny about as much as they want but we have the right to force an EGM upon them and that's exactly what will happen.

Posts: 145 40% of 800 returned equates to 320 .I think only about 100 required to call an EGM.

 

I thought it was 10% of the shareholding held, equating to around £230,000 worth, not just 10% of the number of shareholders.

Everthing I read say's SHAREHOLDER so its 1 vote....... unless its against ......==n====n==

I think it is 10% of the issued share capital Phil, so around £130,000 worth of shares. I stand to be corrected.
