Crewe outmuscled us earlier in the season from two set pieces and I'm expecting more of a physical battle than what we've been used to down the years.

They seem to have stopped picking a lot of their academy players and have brought in a job lot of battle hardened loanees instead.

Something Davies critised Adams for earlier in the season when his son left! He's not pulling trees up is he?

If we can't beat Crewe we don't deserve a playoff place. The least in form team in the league beat them on Saturday so I'd expect us to. I hope we've done our homework on the loan signings that have taken them from abysmal to competitive. Jamie Ness got a bit of space edge of the box on Saturday and picked his spot. Maybe he'll need special attention and that'll help nulify their threat. We need to be quite direct, as we usually are. Get the ball out wide quickly and get their defense under pressure.

They are a bit of a bogey side at Vale Park and we have struggled to beat them recently, with only two wins out of their last ten visits,it's time to change all that.

Yeah cant grumble at our home form. However we have the 4th worst away record this year - if we have any chance of making to top 6, this has to improve quickly.

Been a while since so much hinged on a game for both sides. Defeat for us finally kills off top 6 spot. Defeat for them could put them bottom. So I guess a draw will be on the cards.

As Yeovil showed yesterday there's nowt between the team's from 5th to bottom.

How would one defeat kill off a top 6th place? Were one point off at the minute. It's a really poor league except the top 4 and one game won't ruin anyone's chances of a play off place.
