Skrtel banned for 3 games. But it doesn't end there. He posts a picture of 3 clowns on his Instagram account after being given the verdict.

I just thought the picture of the 3 clowns was a selfie after the Man Utd game with Skrtel and 2 of his team mates..

Skrtels ban will be a big loss when they play the inform team in the division a week on Saturday, and the inform striker of Girroouuudddd..

You do know that despite the loss at the weekend that Liverpool are still above Arsenal in the form table since Christmas, right? I'm much more worried about the pace of Walcott and Sanchez than Giroud, despite him having a purple patch.

No doubt if it happens that Beasty will suddenly be insisting that Chris Smalling is actually world-class and the best centre-back since Franz Beckenbauer.

:D Counting is not one of his strong points.Someone should have bought him a calculator at Christmas.Counting on 12 fingers will always pose problems for him.Awaits tirade of abuse.

Don't worry Beasty' date=' Beechy is the calibre of man that will fall on his sword and offer a sincere apology without excuse....in other news a cow jumped over the moon! ;)[/quote']

Isn't boxing day after Christmas? ;)

I hope the same Arsenal turns up as the one that did against Monaco a couple of weeks back. A win at the Emirates will put Liverpool right back in the mix just as much as losing will end any hopes of a top 4 finish.

Even if Liverpool were to win at Arsenal, they'll still probably need to win 5 or even 6 games out of the final 7 to stand any chance. Then you got rely on Man Utd and Arsenal dropping points, as they'll both only probably need to win 4 or 5 games them selfs. And you only got 3 home games, and 5 away..

If I'm honest I don't think we'll get it now. A huge opportunity was missed against United, and along with that Sturridge is likely to miss the rest of the season, or most of it. Beating Arsenal will put Liverpool right back in the mix as it will give the players a lot of confidence back after losing against United, but anything other than a win and that's it.

Much will depend on which Arsenal turn up. You seem to be either brilliant or shocking, and not much inbetween. If you're honesty you'll admit that you were very fortunate to get a point at Anfield earlier in the season and that's when Liverpool were in a terrible rut, though on the other hand you have put a good run together of late minus the Monaco game at the Emirates. I know one thing, I bet Ozil won't be any better than average win, lose or draw. ;)

Is Raheem Sterling the next Shaun Wright-Phillips? Discuss.

Another one who was made to look good by Suarez in my view.

Hahaha! Good one! :D

Funny how last season Sterling actually happened to have his best games when Suarez was missing, but yeah, whatever you say...
